Upon discovering the truth, Kit panics and reveals the nature of the game world, nearly destroying it. Despite the trio reuniting, Flappers defeats Snappers with Fold's help, triggering the world's destruction. Kit, Kaboodle, and Gobbles escape with Flappers, while Snappers is captured and killed by the Syntax after refusing to join them. Syntax leader Warrick then offers Malice and Mayhem, villains from Kit's world, a chance for revenge.
